The 46th Edition of the International Geographical Seminar “Dimitrie Cantemir” (University Alexandru Ioan Cuza of Iasi)

The workshop on “Bridging Science and Public Decisions for Resilient European Cities in a Warming
Climate”, which was held at the ARCUB Foaier Hall in Bucharest, united local administrators,
researchers and civil society. Organised by Bucharest City Hall, the National Meteorological
Administration (ANM), and the Horizon Europe CARMINE project, the event served as a
collaborative platform to accelerate evidence-based urban climate resilience across European cities.

The Brașov Living Lab, part of the CARMINE project, continues to strengthen collaboration between science, public authorities and local stakeholders to address one of the region’s most pressing climate challenges: water management in the Brașov metropolitan area.

Deanne Brettle from University of Birmingham and Eleni Toli from Athena Research & Innovation Information Technologies represented the CARMINE Project at the European Network of Living Labs’ annual conference.

On the 20th of June 2024, Brașov City Hall hosted the first local working session within the CARMINE project with the involvement of local decision-makers and other stakeholders from the Brasov Metropolitan Area.
