Mitigating Urban Heat with CARMINE: A New Chapter with NOA and DestinE

A new partnership between the National Observatory of Athens (NOA) and the Destination Earth (DestinE) platform marks a significant milestone on the path toward mitigating urban heat. The NOA’s DT-HEAT+ tool, implemented within the EU-funded CARMINE project, will be integrated into the DestinE platform in collaboration with the European Space Agency (ESA), the European Centre for Medium-Range Weather Forecasts (ECMWF), and EUMETSAT.
